I have designed wireframes of sites, created or migrated sites to WordPress and other CMS platforms, performed SEO, and edited existing sites for individuals, small businesses, large corporations, and government agencies.

I have been involved with setting up a studio from scratch, and shooting product photographing ranging in scale of small objects, full size apparel, and large PA systems. I have delivered content for many major online retailers.

I am John Rettig, a Graphic Designer experienced in web design, print layout and photography as well as music composition, audio and video recording and video editing.

Hello!

I am an experienced Graphic Designer that is proficient in Adobe programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects among others. I have done work on packaging, manuals, catalogs, presentations, magazine advertisements, websites, email campaigns, UI/UX design, trade show exhibits, apparel and product photography. I have a background in website development and maintenance along with utilizing SEO best practices for different CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal. I have a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program.

My part in product development has usually involved designing the look and feel of a product, artwork for packaging and marketing, photography, and establishing a web presence.

Displays can vary from simple banners, in-store POP displays, trade show exhibits, to interactive digital touch screens utilizing specialized software.

SEO is about correctly adhering to Google best practices with code, the structure of content, the use of titles and keywords, correcting errors, and making sure tags are used correctly.

Product Photography

I have done product photography for business that utilize eCommerce retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, the Home Depot, Lowe's, Guitar Center, and Musician's Friend.

Video Editing & Animation

My video editing began a decade ago doing recordings of bands. I have since learned programs like Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D Lite, Adobe Audition, Sony Vegas, Ortery 360°, GarageBand, and Logic Pro.
